I Am Now a Member of Pulchri Studio — Artists Association in The Hague

I am proud and deeply honoured to be admitted as a new member of the artists' association Pulchri Studio — one of the Netherlands' oldest and most respected cultural institutions.

From Ballotage to Admission

On 20 March, I submitted a series of photographs for the admission selection (ballotage). Below you can view the images that were reviewed. On 2 April, I received the wonderful news that I had been accepted by majority vote of the selection committee, with the Board adopting their recommendation.

What Pulchri Studio Means to Me

Pulchri Studio is an artists' association and gallery for contemporary art, located in the beautiful and historic centre of The Hague. Founded in 1847, the organisation originally focused on drawing from the live model, promoting the interests of visual arts and its members, and hosting art viewings and discussions.

To be a member of this historic association in my own city is deeply meaningful to me. It connects me with a community of working artists and places my photography within a broader tradition of Dutch visual culture.

Looking Ahead

It is my intention to collaborate actively with this artists' association — contributing to exhibitions, participating in events, and working alongside fellow artists and photographers towards a more beautiful world.
