Summer's Last Whisper: Introducing Echoes of Summer

There is a particular quality of light in summer that never quite returns.

The summer made a stormy entrance. One that gave way to warm, long days and shadows that grew longer with each passing week. I spent those days photographing not the spectacle of summer, but its quiet rhythms. The spaces between moments.

Today I'm pleased to announce Echoes of Summer, a limited-edition zine collecting these photographs into a tangible object meant to outlast the season itself.

This is not a coffee book of highlights. Nor is it a souvenir. It is an archive of atmosphere - forty pages of photographs that document how summer feels rather than what summer looks like. The weight of afternoon heat. The silence of a street at midday. The way dust floats through shafts of sunlight in an empty room.

Like my previous zine, Echoes of a Day, this publication exists as a deliberate counterpoint to the speed of everything else. Images that vanish into feeds within minutes. Stories consumed in scrolling seconds. Here, the work demands something different: your time, your attention, your hands.

Pre-orders are now open via this link. The total cost is €18.95 including shipping within the Netherlands. Delivery will take place in the second half of October—after the harvest, before the cold sets in.

This is a limited edition of 50 copies. Once sold out, there will be no reprint.

Why print photographs in 2026? Because paper remembers what screens forget. Because there is value in objects that ask you to slow down. Because some things deserve to be held, not just seen.

Look through the preview images on the page. If the work resonates, pre-order before quantities run out. If not, thank you for spending this moment here anyway.
